It’s been awhile since our last update, but we’ve collected all of the “top flops” that have occurred in the NBA playoffs since our last update. Enjoy!
Below the video are the players featured in this video:
0:04 – Oklahoma City’s Thabo Sefolosha
0:26 – Dallas’ Jose Barea

It’s been relatively quiet over the past 9 days on the “flopping front,” but not too unexpected since the number of games being played in the playoffs has slowly dwindled since our last update.
In this episode of TopFlops, we feature 3 floppers: Dallas’ Jose Barea, Chicago’s Keith Bogans, & Omar Asik. The one from Asik is absolutely hilarious. Enjoy!
We featured from Thursday’s Dallas-Portland game 3 “alleged” flops on our sister site RefCalls.com because sometimes the refs can get tired of the act. Checkout J.J. Barea try to work his magic.
We also include a clip of a loose ball foul against Tyson Chandler at the end of this video that fouled him out of the game. We’re not sure what the ref saw because we didn’t even see a flop from Portland’s Lamarcus Aldridge to try to sell it.
Sports Illustrated recently released the results of an NBA players’ poll asking anecdotally who the top floppers were in the league. Here’s the list:
1. Anderson Varejao
2. Manu Ginobili
3. Luis Scola
4. Derek Fisher
5. Kevin Martin
6. Shane Battier
7. Jarron Collins
8. Raja Bell
9. Jose Barea
10. Andres Nocioni
11. Reggie Evans
12. Corey Maggette
13. Kobe Bryant
14. Paul Pierce
15. Sasha Vujacic
Regarding Martin at #5, we don’t think he’s a flopper as much as he is an expert in getting guys to jump into the air on his pump fakes, then drawing legitimate contact as he jumps into the air. It’s more of his defenders’ fault than Martin’s.
We loved K-Mart’s response when told about the results of the poll…
“Oh, I wanted No. 1. Just made it because nobody can stay in front of me and guard me and I know the rules of the game. They don’t think it’s a foul, but they don’t stay down on my pump fakes, so it’s an easy call. That’s the reason I made it, because nobody can really guard me. I needed to be up a few spots.”
